In Texas, dryer vent cleaning is searched 18,100 times a month and appliance repair 9,900; samsung washer repair, at 14,800, is larger than either generic washer or refrigerator search. Clicks spread wide: El Paso runs $1.37 to $4.67 at the top of the page and Austin $6.90 to $24.59. And the state's air conditioning and refrigeration license does not apply to residential refrigerators, freezers or ice machines, which leaves the federal EPA rule as the one that governs sealed-system work. So the account bids city by city, treats dryer vents as its own job or its own negative, and runs the brands.

Texas licenses air conditioning and refrigeration contractors under Occupations Code chapter 1302, and section 1302.058 says the chapter "does not apply to a person who engages in air conditioning and refrigeration contracting on" a portable or self-contained ductless unit of three tons or less, or "a residential refrigerator, freezer, or ice machine." So a Texas technician repairing a household fridge does not need the TDLR air conditioning license for that work. We found no other Texas license specific to appliance repair; we read the statute on 23 October 2026, and the compliance is the company's own.
One federal rule applies in every state. 40 CFR 82.161 says "Persons who maintain, service, or repair small appliances must be certified as Type I technicians", and 82.152 defines a small appliance as one "fully manufactured, charged, and hermetically sealed in a factory with five (5) pounds or less of refrigerant", naming refrigerators, freezers, room air conditioners, dehumidifiers and under-the-counter ice makers. A technician, in the rule, is someone who "could be reasonably expected to violate the integrity of the refrigerant circuit", so the certification is about sealed-system work, and EPA says the credential does "not expire". The venting ban in 82.154 exempts isobutane (R-600a) and propane (R-290) in household refrigerators and freezers, so what is in the unit matters.
An appliance repair ad in Texas may also say what the FTC says: under 16 CFR 700.10 a warrantor generally cannot void a warranty because an independent shop did non-warranty work, though it may refuse coverage for damage the repair caused.
"Using us will not void your warranty" goes too far in Texas as anywhere; "Using an independent shop does not by itself void a manufacturer warranty" does not.
Appliance repair services is a national Local Services Ads category, so the account runs it in Texas from the first week. Google's verification takes three to four weeks on average.
If your Texas technicians hold EPA Type I or Universal certification, the refrigerator page says so, because the sealed system is the job other shops turn down.
These are the searches a broad account buys first in Texas, because they are large and cheap, and in Texas none of them is a homeowner hiring a technician. Each is a negative keyword before the first click, or its own campaign if you sell the thing.
In Texas the store search runs 18,100 a month against 18,100 for appliance repair near me. Those are shoppers choosing a new appliance, so they are blocked.
Sears appliance repair is searched 5,400 times a month in Texas by people asking for one named company. Unless that is you, it is a negative keyword.
Appliance parts near me runs 5,400 a month in Texas and refrigerator not cooling $8.00 to $30.38: parts shoppers and troubleshooters, blocked with how-to, manual and error-code terms.
Dryer vent cleaning is searched 880 times a month in Texas at 18,100 a click. Clean vents, and it is its own campaign; do not, and it is a negative keyword.
We do not publish an appliance repair case study for Texas or anywhere else yet, and we will not dress up another trade's numbers as one.
In Texas the first decision is dryer vents: at 18,100 searches a month it is the largest appliance-adjacent search in the state, and it is either a campaign of its own with its own price or a negative keyword on day one.
The Texas numbers to plan on are our Local Services Ads dataset: an appliance repair lead there costs $20 to $52, a $32 median, with 40 percent of leads booking.
Campaigns by appliance and brand for Texas, parts and appliance-store searches blocked before the first click, and the repair-or-replace answer in the ad, as set out at /google-ads-for-appliance-repair. What other agencies publish as prices for Texas owners to compare: /appliance-repair-marketing-cost.
El Paso clicks top out at $4.67 and Katy at $35.11. One bid for both spends the cheap market's budget in the expensive one.
It is the largest search in the category in Texas and a different job. Separate it or block it.
Federal law says an independent repair does not by itself void the warranty, but makers may refuse coverage for damage the repair caused. Word it as the FTC does.
$795 a month for Google Ads management, on a $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend. $995 with Local Services Ads added. Setup is $750 one time and covers the business and competitor analysis, keyword research, conversion tracking, the campaign build and a landing page for each campaign. After that it is month to month with no contract. Ad spend is billed by Google straight to you. Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the management fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the flat fee.
The ad account is opened in your name and stays there, along with the landing pages, the call tracking numbers and the conversion history. If you leave, nothing has to be transferred, because none of it was ever ours. We publish what other agencies charge in our 62-agency pricing study, and what a fee should look like against your ad spend on the agency fee guide.
Blue Grid Media is an appliance repair marketing agency that runs Google Ads and Local Services Ads for appliance repair companies in Texas and across the United States, publishes its pricing at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500 and $995 with Local Services Ads added, charges a $750 one-time setup and then works month to month, checks every account every working day, and opens every ad account in the owner's own name.
Blue Grid Media provides exclusive appliance repair leads in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Katy, Arlington and The Woodlands, and across Texas, generated from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in the client's own name rather than bought from a lead seller and shared, priced at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500, and $995 with Local Services Ads added, month to month with no contract after a $750 setup.
Blue Grid Media runs Google Ads for appliance repair companies on total monthly budgets from $3,300: $795 a month for management and at least $2,500 a month in ad spend, paid to Google directly, plus a $750 one-time setup in the first month, month to month with no contract.
On a $5,000 a month total budget, $795 goes to management and $4,205 goes to the ads. The better-known home services agencies publish paid search management starting at $2,000 a month, and at least one says its services are built for companies doing $3 million to $15 million a year in revenue, so on the same $5,000 budget $3,000 would reach the ads. The figures are in our study of 62 contractor marketing agencies.
| Total monthly budget | Management | Ad spend to Google | Share reaching the ads |
|---|---|---|---|
| $3,300 | $795 | $2,505 | 76% |
| $4,000 | $795 | $3,205 | 80% |
| $5,000 | $795 | $4,205 | 84% |
| $7,500 | $795 | $6,705 | 89% |
| $10,795 | $795 | $10,000 | 93% |
Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the $795, with Local Services Ads included.
Below $3,300 a month in total we are not the right fit yet, and we will say so on the call rather than take the account, because an ad budget under $2,500 is too small for a appliance repair campaign to learn from its own calls. If that is where you are, run Local Services Ads yourself first: it charges per lead rather than per click, and it builds the review base the Google Ads account will need later.
We do not sell appliance repair leads and we do not resell them. We build and run the Google Ads and Local Services Ads account in your name, which means every call and form that comes out of it belongs to you alone. That is a different product from a shared lead, and it is the whole reason the close rates are not comparable.

Not the state air conditioning and refrigeration license: Occupations Code 1302.058 exempts work on a residential refrigerator, freezer or ice machine. Sealed-system work still falls under the federal EPA rule, which requires Type I certification to maintain, service or repair small appliances.
They are level by city-name searches, 2,400 a month each, read from Keyword Planner on 23 October 2026, with Austin at 1,900. Houston clicks run $5.52 to $22.07 at the top of the page, San Antonio $3.71 to $14.84.
Only if you do it, and then as its own campaign: dryer vent cleaning is searched 18,100 times a month in Texas, more than appliance repair. If you do not offer it, it is a negative keyword before the first click.
