Contractor working on an electrical panel
Contractor and Electrician Website Design

A contractor website built to book jobs, live in a week, and yours to keep.

Most contractor sites are brochures that quietly burn the ad budget. Slow to load, no call tracking, and a ten field form nobody fills in on a phone. We build the other kind, and you own it outright.

$497 flat, or $250 when we run your ads. $49 a month covers hosting, updates and backups. You own it. No contract.

Why the site decides what the ads cost

The same ad budget, two different outcomes

Your website is not a separate line item from your advertising. It is the thing that decides how much every click costs and how many of them turn into a phone call. Published 2026 benchmarks, not our numbers.

ChannelAds pointed at a slow, general siteAds pointed at a fast, focused page
Google Ads Poor landing page experience raises cost 30% to 70%Landing page experience is 25 to 35% of Quality Score Above average pages run CPCs 36% below averageA 2 point Quality Score lift cuts account CPC 22 to 35%

Meta and paid social Cold traffic to a general site converts 1% to 3%Typical CPL planning range is $29 to $31+ A proper page converts 3% to 8%, and its leads reach qualified at 40 to 55%Instant form leads qualify at 25 to 40%

Put those together and the site is usually the cheapest lever you have. You can cut cost per lead without touching the budget, the bids or the keywords, because you paid for the click either way. The only question is whether the page turned it into a call.

Service area pages for the towns you actually cover.
Click to call everywhere, with a sticky bar on mobile.
Short forms, three fields, not ten.
Call and form tracking wired in from day one.
Your real job photos used properly, stock only if you have none.
Reviews and licence numbers where buyers look for them.

Built to load fast on a phone, on job site signal.

What it costs over a year

The monthly website plans are the expensive option

Template agencies advertise a small monthly number because it never stops, and the site is not yours at the end of it. Here is the same twelve months priced honestly.

Blue Grid Media, with ad management$250 build plus $49 a month hosting$838$588
Blue Grid Media, on its own$497 build plus $49 a month hosting$1,085$588
Template agency monthly planTypically $150 to $300 a month, and the site is not yours$1,800 to $3,600$1,800 to $3,600

Small agency, 2 to 5 staffTypically $5,000 to $25,000 for a small business site$5,000 to $25,000maintenance

Ranges are published U.S. market benchmarks for 2026, not our quotes. The real difference on a monthly plan is not the money, it is that you stop paying and the site disappears.

Straight answers

Questions contractors actually ask

On price, ownership, timelines and what happens if you leave.

Why is this so much cheaper than the other quotes I got?

Because there is no account manager, no sales team and no discovery phase to pay for. You talk to the person building the site. A 2 to 5 person agency quotes $5,000 to $25,000 for a small business site largely because of the layers between you and the work. We removed the layers instead of cutting the build.

Do I actually own the site?

Yes, outright, including the domain and the code. If you leave we hand over the files and help point the domain wherever you want. This matters more than it sounds. There are documented cases of contractors being charged a cancellation penalty, refused their source code, and losing the domain name they had used for years.

What is the $49 a month for, and is it required?

Hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small edits. It is not a licence fee and it is not how you keep access to your own site. If you would rather host it yourself we will hand the files over and you can, though most contractors would rather not think about it.

How long does it take?

Five to ten days from the point we have your photos, service list, service areas and licence numbers. The part that usually takes longest is not the build, it is waiting on content from you, so we send a single short checklist rather than a long questionnaire.

Why is it half price if you run my ads?

Because the website is not where we make our money. On its own the build is $497. If you also have us running your Google Ads or Local Services Ads, it drops to $250, one time. We would rather build the site close to cost and earn the relationship on the ad management. Either way you own the site, and either way there is no contract.

My current site is not that bad. Should I rebuild?

Maybe not. Open it on your phone right now and check three things: how long it takes to load, whether the phone number is tappable without scrolling, and whether a form submission is actually tracked anywhere. If all three are fine, keep it and spend the money on ads instead. We will tell you that on the call.
