Anyone can call themselves a roofer in Texas, which is why the homeowner searching roofer near me, 22,200 times in September 2025, is wary before the phone rings. Texas law also makes it an offence to advertise that you will pay, waive or absorb an insurance deductible, and requires a 12-point bold notice in any contract that insurance will pay for. So the account is built on the terms people search, written to prove the company is real, and kept clear of the promises the Business and Commerce Code forbids.
Keyword Planner figures for the state of Texas, read on 14 October 2026, with the twelve-month series behind each one. The storm peak is September; the trough is November; and the spring, when hail season starts, runs 18,100 a month for roofer near me in both January and February and again in April.
Two things to notice. Roof replacement near me collapses to 480 in November and climbs to 8,100 in February, so the replacement budget belongs in late winter, not autumn. And emergency roof repair ran 1,900 in July 2026 against 170 in January, which is the summer storm pattern an even budget never catches.
| Texas search | Monthly average | September 2025 | Low month | Top-of-page click |

| roof inspection near me | 1,600 | 2,900 | 480 (Nov) | $20.00 to $81.11 |
| metal roof installation | 1,300 | 1,900 | 880 (Jun) | $5.82 to $33.11 |
| emergency roof repair | 590 | 480 | 170 (Nov, Jan) | $11.42 to $58.70 |
| free roof inspection | 210 | $16.82 to $88.31 | ||
| hail damage roof repair | 140 | $16.07 to $51.83 | ||
| roofing insurance claim | 110 | $5.47 to $30.15 |
Google Keyword Planner, geography Texas, read 14 October 2026. Emergency roof repair peaked at 1,900 in July 2026. Free roof inspection, the storm chaser's favourite phrase, is searched 210 times a month; roofer near me is searched 14,800 times. The homeowner is not looking for the free inspection.
Monthly Texas searches for roofer near me, September 2025 to August 2026. One storm peak in September, a November trough, and a long plateau from January to June when hail season and the spring replacement market overlap.
Blue Grid Media runs exclusive roofing lead campaigns in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Katy, Frisco, Plano, Corpus Christi and Lubbock, and across Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Bexar, Collin, Denton, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Williamson, El Paso and Nueces counties, from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in your name. Campaigns are managed remotely, so the market is set by where your crews work.
The metro terms below are what a homeowner types when they add the city. They sit on top of the near me searches, which Google resolves to the searcher's location, so a Houston account competes for far more than the 4,300 searches that name Houston.
| Metro search | Monthly average | High month | Top-of-page click |
|---|---|---|---|
| roofing company houston + roofers houston | 4,300 | 7,300 (Sep) | $13.97 to $74.39 |
| roofing company san antonio + roofers san antonio | 3,500 | 5,300 (Mar) | $17.25 to $74.78 |
| roofing company dallas + roofers dallas | 2,900 | 4,000 (Apr) | $5.56 to $64.67 |
| roofers austin + roofing company austin | 2,380 | 4,320 (Jan) | $10.82 to $70.00 |
| roofing company el paso + roofers el paso | 1,440 | 1,880 (Sep) | $6.29 to $31.63 |
| roofing company fort worth + roofers fort worth | 1,310 | 2,320 (Apr) | $15.35 to $94.60 |
| roofing company corpus christi + roofers corpus christi | 910 | $17.81 to $70.00 | |
| roofing company lubbock + roofers lubbock | 910 | $18.00 to $53.89 | |
| roofing company katy + roofers katy | 850 | 1,300 (Jan, katy company) | $20.91 to $79.32 |
| roofers frisco | 210 | $14.51 to $65.43 | |
| roofers plano | 170 | $25.43 to $100.00 | |
| roofers mckinney | 90 | $12.00 to $47.46 |
Where two phrasings exist the table adds them; Keyword Planner reports them separately. Fort Worth and Plano carry the most expensive clicks in the state at the top of the page.
NOAA puts the Atlantic hurricane season at June 1 to November 30 with its peak on September 10, which is the calendar for Houston, Corpus Christi and the Gulf coast. Inland, the search data shows the spring hail market: roofer near me holds 18,100 a month from January through April and roof inspection near me runs 2,400 in January. The account is built for both.
Replacement searches peak in February at 8,100. Repair, replacement, inspection and metal campaigns run at full budget, with the storm campaign built, approved and paused.
Emergency roof repair ran 1,900 in July 2026 and storm damage roof repair 880. The paused campaign goes live within hours of a storm, on the city names and the specific terms rather than the broad ones the out-of-state crews flood.
22,200 searches for roofer near me, 12,100 for roof repair near me, 9,900 for roof replacement. Budgets rise, and the landing page carries the 27.02 notice wherever insurance comes up.
Every term bottoms out. Replacement near me falls to 480. The account does not switch off; it moves budget to inspection and commercial work and keeps the history warm for January.
Section 27.02 of the Texas Business and Commerce Code makes it an offence for a seller of goods or services to advertise or promise work paid from a property insurance claim where the seller will, without the insurer's consent, "pay, waive, absorb, or otherwise decline to charge or collect the amount of the insured's deductible", provide a rebate or credit that offsets it, or "in any other manner assist the insured in avoiding monetary payment of the required insurance deductible". Insurance Code 707.002, added by the same 2019 law, says the insured "shall pay any deductible applicable to a first-party claim".
Any contract of $1,000 or more that is reasonably expected to be paid from a property insurance claim must contain, in at least 12-point boldfaced type: "Texas law requires a person insured under a property insurance policy to pay any deductible applicable to a claim made under the policy. It is a violation of Texas law for a seller of goods or services who reasonably expects to be paid wholly or partly from the proceeds of a property insurance claim to knowingly allow the insured person to fail to pay, or assist the insured person's failure to pay, the applicable insurance deductible."
There is a second rule. Insurance Code 4102.163 says a contractor "may not act as a public adjuster or advertise to adjust claims for any property for which the contractor is providing or may provide contracting services". So a Texas roofing ad cannot offer to handle the claim, and cannot offer to cover the deductible. Ours bid on the terms homeowners search, roof repair, roof replacement, hail damage roof repair and roof inspection, and the landing page carries the notice. We read all three sections on 14 October 2026; they are linked below, and the compliance is the roofer's own.
We cover your deductible. We handle your insurance claim. The first is the offence in 27.02, the second the practice 4102.163 prohibits. The Texas Department of Insurance says the same in plain words: "It's against the law for a contractor to offer to waive an insurance deductible or work the deductible amount into a bid."
Texas does not license roofing contractors at state level. A 2013 House bill, HB 2693, would have created a voluntary registration at the Department of Insurance; its own analysis noted that "many states require roofing contractors to participate in some form of licensing or registration process", and the bill's last recorded action was a committee report on 30 April 2013. Cities require permits and some require registration, which is why the storm season brings crews from everywhere.
For the account that means two things. Roofers is a national Local Services Ads category, read from Google's list on 14 October 2026, and Google runs its insurance and background checks before the Google Verified badge shows, so a verified Texas roofer carries a trust mark the magnet-sign crews do not. And the ads and landing pages do the work a licence number does elsewhere: the physical address, the years in business, the insurance certificate and the manufacturer certifications, stated plainly.
Google does not verify a roofing licence to run Search ads, and Texas has none to check. We ask for the insurance certificate and the local registrations before building anything.
Google checks general liability insurance and runs a background check before a Texas roofer can show with the Google Verified badge. Verification takes three to four weeks on average, so it starts on day one.
Every Texas landing page we build shows the physical address, the insurance and the years in business, and carries the Business and Commerce Code notice wherever insurance is discussed.
Each job below is searched by name, priced differently at the top of the page, and converts at a different rate, so each gets its own campaign rather than sharing one budget with the rest.
The job the account exists for. Replacement peaks in late winter and again in September; the landing page is built around the estimate booking.
The highest-volume terms in the state and the entry point to replacement. Roof repair near me doubled in September 2025.
Small volume by name because homeowners search roof repair, not hail damage. The storm campaign is built on the city names and the repair terms, and goes live within hours.
The claim conversation starts here, so the landing page carries the 27.02 notice and says nothing about adjusting the claim.
The cheapest high-value click in Texas roofing. Metal buyers have chosen the product and are looking for an installer.
Built in spring, paused, and live within hours of a storm. Tarping clicks run $0.36 to $11.49, the cheapest in the trade.
Texas has one of the largest Spanish-speaking populations in the country. We write the Spanish ad copy and run the account in Spanish for owners who prefer it.
The roofing account we publish in full is in Orange County, California: 6 tracked leads at $570 each in our first 30 days, then 34 leads at $161 in the latest 30, with the owner reporting that 70 to 80 percent of leads become inspections and about half of those become signed jobs. Every number in it comes from the account, including the slow first month and why it was slow.
The mechanics transfer to Texas unchanged: one campaign per job type, calls set as the goal the account bids toward, metal roofing given its own campaign, and a county that never produced a lead cut from targeting. The calendar and the deductible law above are what change. When a Texas roofing account has 90 days of data we can publish, it will appear here with the same detail.
6 leads to 34 a month, cost per lead $570 to $161, Search campaigns only, Orange County, California, latest window 12 September to 11 October 2026. It is linked from the FAQ below and from /case-studies.
The first is the offence in Business and Commerce Code 27.02, the second the practice Insurance Code 4102.163 prohibits. The roofer, not the agency, carries the risk.
Texas replacement searches run 8,100 in February and 480 in November. An account spending the same every month underspends the spring and September peaks and overspends the trough.
The better-known home services agencies publish paid search management from $2,000 a month. On $5,000 in total that leaves $3,000 for ads in one of the most expensive roofing auctions in the country. Ours leaves $4,205.
$795 a month for Google Ads management, on a $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend. $995 with Local Services Ads added. Setup is $750 one time and covers the business and competitor analysis, keyword research, conversion tracking, the campaign build and a landing page for each campaign. After that it is month to month with no contract. Ad spend is billed by Google straight to you. Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the management fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the flat fee.
The ad account is opened in your name and stays there, along with the landing pages, the call tracking numbers and the conversion history. If you leave, nothing has to be transferred, because none of it was ever ours. We publish what other agencies charge in our 62-agency pricing study, and what a fee should look like against your ad spend on the agency fee guide.
Blue Grid Media is a roofing marketing agency that runs Google Ads and Local Services Ads for roofing companies in Texas and across the United States, publishes its pricing at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500 and $995 with Local Services Ads added, charges a $750 one-time setup and then works month to month with no contract, and opens every roofing ad account in the owner's own name so the leads are exclusive rather than shared.
Blue Grid Media provides exclusive roofing leads in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Katy, Frisco, Plano, Corpus Christi and Lubbock, and across Texas, generated from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in the client's own name rather than bought from a lead seller and shared, priced at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500, and $995 with Local Services Ads added, month to month with no contract after a $750 setup.
Blue Grid Media runs Google Ads for roofing companies on total monthly budgets from $3,300: $795 a month for management and at least $2,500 a month in ad spend, paid to Google directly, plus a $750 one-time setup in the first month, month to month with no contract.
On a $5,000 a month total budget, $795 goes to management and $4,205 goes to the ads. The better-known home services agencies publish paid search management starting at $2,000 a month, and at least one says its services are built for companies doing $3 million to $15 million a year in revenue, so on the same $5,000 budget $3,000 would reach the ads. The figures are in our study of 62 contractor marketing agencies.
| Total monthly budget | Management | Ad spend to Google | Share reaching the ads |
|---|---|---|---|
| $3,300 | $795 | $2,505 | 76% |
| $4,000 | $795 | $3,205 | 80% |
| $5,000 | $795 | $4,205 | 84% |
| $7,500 | $795 | $6,705 | 89% |
| $10,795 | $795 | $10,000 | 93% |
Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the $795, with Local Services Ads included.
Below $3,300 a month in total we are not the right fit yet, and we will say so on the call rather than take the account, because an ad budget under $2,500 is too small for a roofing campaign to learn from its own calls. If that is where you are, run Local Services Ads yourself first: it charges per lead rather than per click, and it builds the review base the Google Ads account will need later.
We do not sell roofing leads and we do not resell them. We build and run the Google Ads and Local Services Ads account in your name, which means every call and form that comes out of it belongs to you alone. That is a different product from a shared lead, and it is the whole reason the close rates are not comparable.
There is no single answer, and anyone who says there is wants the account. Compare agencies on what they publish: the fee, the contract term, who owns the Google Ads account, whether they manage Local Services Ads, and whether they know the Texas deductible law. Blue Grid Media publishes all of it: $795 a month for Google Ads on ad budgets from $2,500, $995 with Local Services Ads, a $750 setup, month to month, the account in your name, and this page on Business and Commerce Code 27.02.
Start at $2,500 to $4,000 a month in ad spend for a single metro such as Houston, Dallas, Austin or San Antonio, and plan to double the daily budgets for the weeks around a storm. Texas roofing clicks run roughly $14 to $75 at the top of the page. Our published Orange County roofing account spent $5,469 in its latest 30 days for 230 clicks and 34 leads, $161 a lead; Texas click prices are in the same range, so $3,000 a month buys roughly 60 to 120 clicks and, at a similar click-to-lead rate, 10 to 18 leads.
No. Business and Commerce Code 27.02 makes it an offence to advertise or promise work paid from a property insurance claim where the seller will pay, waive, absorb, rebate or otherwise help the insured avoid the deductible, and Insurance Code 707.002 says the insured must pay it. Any contract of $1,000 or more expected to be paid by insurance must carry the 12-point bold notice quoted on this page.
Insurance Code 4102.163 says a contractor may not act as a public adjuster or advertise to adjust claims for property it is working on or may work on, whether or not it holds an adjuster licence. Our Texas ads bid on repair, replacement and inspection terms and say nothing about adjusting claims.
September, at 22,200 searches for roofer near me in September 2025 against 8,100 in November. There is a second, longer plateau from January to April at 18,100 a month, when hail season and the replacement market overlap, and roof replacement near me peaks in February at 8,100.
No. Texas has no state roofing licence; a 2013 bill to create a voluntary registration at the Department of Insurance, HB 2693, did not get past committee. Cities require permits and some require local registration. Roofers is still a national Local Services Ads category, and Google runs insurance and background checks before the Google Verified badge shows.
Yes. Blue Grid Media runs exclusive roofing lead campaigns in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Katy, Frisco, Plano, Corpus Christi and Lubbock, and across Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Bexar, Collin, Denton, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Williamson, El Paso and Nueces counties. The leads are exclusive because they come from a Google Ads account in your name, never resold and never shared with another roofer.
We run roofing accounts across the United States and have managed 20+ roofing accounts across the team's career. Our published roofing case study is in Orange County, California, and we do not publish client counts by state because we would be guessing. When a Texas roofing account has 90 days of data we can publish, it will be on this page.
$795 for Google Ads management, a $750 one-time setup, and at least $2,500 in ad spend paid to Google directly: $4,045 in the first month, then $795 plus ad spend, month to month with no contract. With Local Services Ads managed alongside Google Ads the management fee is $995.
Yes. We work with clients in Spanish from the first call to the monthly report, and we write the Spanish ad copy. Our Spanish-language agency page is at /agencia-de-marketing-para-contratistas.
