Audit and improve your LSA photo profile to strengthen your ranking and convert more clicks
Photos are a direct ranking signal in Google Local Services Ads. Profiles with high-quality, varied photos consistently outperform those with few or generic images. Use this checklist to audit your current photo setup and close any gaps. Aim to refresh your photo library at least once per quarter.

| # | Checklist Item | Done? |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | At least 5 photos uploaded to the LSA dashboard (Google's minimum before your profile appears complete) | |
| 2 | At least 1 photo of your crew or technicians in branded uniforms (builds trust with searchers) | |
| 3 | At least 1 completed job photo showing the finished work, not just the technician on site | |
| 4 | At least 1 branded vehicle photo (wrapped truck or van with logo visible) | |
| 5 | No stock photos — every image is of your actual team, real jobs, or your own equipment | |
| 6 | All photos are high resolution — no blurry, dark, pixelated, or heavily compressed images | |
| 7 | Photos are landscape or square orientation (portrait-cropped photos display poorly in the LSA card) | |
| 8 | No watermarks, promotional text, or overlaid logos on any photo | |
| 9 | Before/after photos added for jobs where there is a visible transformation (installs, repairs, cleanouts) | |
| 10 | Photos cover more than one job type (variety signals a full-service operation vs. a single-job specialist) | |
| 11 | Seasonal photos added during peak seasons (e.g. AC unit in summer, furnace in winter, storm damage in spring) | |
| 12 | No duplicate or near-identical photos (two shots of the same truck, same angle) | |
| 13 | Google Business Profile photos are also updated and synced (GBP and LSA share ranking signals) | |
| 14 | Photo library reviewed and refreshed within the last 90 days (quarterly update scheduled on calendar) |
