Weekly LSA Optimization Checklist

Routine weekly maintenance to keep your LSA account healthy and your ranking stable

Run this checklist every week — ideally on the same day. Most LSA performance problems compound over multiple weeks before they show up as a drop in leads. Catching them here, early, is far cheaper than diagnosing them after your ranking has already slipped. Takes about 15 minutes once you have the habit.

3 Responsiveness score checked in the LSA dashboard (aim for "Highly Responsive" — anything lower costs ranking)
4 Missed calls from this week reviewed — follow up on any missed leads within 24 hours if not done already
5 Weekly lead volume compared to your 4-week rolling average (up, down, or flat — note the trend)
6 Weekly spend vs. budget pacing checked (on target, running out early, or consistently underspending)
7 Cost per lead this week calculated (weekly spend divided by leads received — note any big swings from prior weeks)
8 New reviews received this week counted and noted toward your monthly target
9 Top 1-2 competitors checked in an incognito browser search (who is ranking above you and have their profiles changed?)
10 Job types reviewed — any relevant types currently disabled that should be re-enabled for this season
11 New photo uploaded to the LSA dashboard if no photo has been added in the last 30 days
12 Any Google account alerts or notifications in the LSA dashboard addressed and resolved
