Arizona is the thinnest of the five junk removal markets we measured: junk removal runs 2,900 searches a month statewide and junk removal near me 2,400, against 8,100 for dump near me. Phoenix and Tucson carry most of it. Arizona law also counts anyone who will "wreck or demolish any building... or other structure" as a contractor, and the handyman exemption is lost by anyone who advertises without the words "not a licensed contractor". So the account starts with Local Services Ads, adds Search in Phoenix and Tucson, and keeps demolition jobs out of the ads unless the company holds a licence or prints those words.
Keyword Planner figures for the state of Arizona, read on 23 October 2026. The grey bars are the hire searches, and in Arizona they are small: the dump is searched 2.8 times as often as junk removal, the widest gap of the five states.
Arizona has two peaks. Junk removal reached 4,400 in October 2025 and junk removal near me 3,600 in September 2026, and Phoenix itself reached 2,400 in June, with Gilbert at 590 the same month. December is the low point, 1,300 for junk removal near me.
Monthly Arizona searches, average October 2025 to September 2026. Grey bars are hire searches.

A.R.S. 32-1101 defines a contractor as anyone who will "move, wreck or demolish any building, excavation or other structure". The handyman exemption in 32-1121(A)(14) covers unlicensed work where "the aggregate contract price... is less than $1,000" and the work is "of a casual or minor nature", but it does not apply where a permit is required, or "To a person who uses any form of advertising to the public in which the person's unlicensed status is not disclosed by including the words 'not a licensed contractor' in the advertisement."
Tires have their own line. A.R.S. 44-1304(B): "A person shall not dispose of motor vehicle waste tires unless the waste tires are disposed of at a waste tire collection site", and 44-1304.01 makes discarding tires for commercial purposes outside those rules a class 5 felony. We read all four sections on 23 October 2026; the compliance is the company's own, and the Registrar of Contractors is the place to confirm it.
For the account that means shed and deck tear-downs stay out of the ads for an unlicensed company, or every ad carries "not a licensed contractor" and the jobs stay under $1,000 with no permit. Hauling the pile is junk removal; tearing down the structure is contracting.
Shed removal is a small search in Arizona, 20 a month, but it is the job that crosses the line. Unlicensed, it is a negative keyword or an ad with the required words.
In a thin market the per-lead channel goes first. Leads run $15 to $42 in our dataset, a $25 median, with 42 percent booking.
The page lists what the crew hauls and says plainly which jobs it does not do, which keeps the calls to the work the company can legally take.
With 2,900 searches a month statewide, a Search campaign outside the Valley and Tucson runs out of people to show to. So the Arizona account is built in the other order: Local Services Ads carry the state, and Search runs where the city searches are, Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Scottsdale and Chandler, with the June and October peaks budgeted.
Below about $3,300 a month in total, we will tell you to run Local Services Ads directly and come back when the Search budget is there. That is the honest answer for most of Arizona outside the Valley.
Pay per lead, $15 to $42 in our dataset, with the Google Verified badge after verification.
Phoenix 1,300 a month, Tucson 1,000, Mesa 590, Scottsdale 390, each bid on its own.
Phoenix reached 2,400 in June and statewide junk removal 4,400 in October 2025.
At 8,100 searches a month against 2,900, it is most of what broad match would find.
Blue Grid Media manages 5 junk removal accounts as of October 2026. The one we publish is a family-run company between Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida. It had spent $2,580.23 in the month before we took over, and roughly three quarters of the visible spend had gone to searches for the dump, the landfill and county trash pickup. After the rebuild went live on 12 October 2026, the first eleven days produced 16 leads on $1,166.59, $73 a lead, and $58 a lead in the second week, against a $165 minimum job.
In Arizona the case for the negative list is even stronger than in Florida, because the dump is searched 2.8 times as often as junk removal here against 2.2 times in Florida, and the hire searches are a fraction of the size.
Eleven days is early and the case study says so. We will publish a Arizona junk removal account when one has 90 days of data we can show in the same detail.
16 leads at $73 in eleven days, $58 a lead in week two, with how every lead was counted, at /case-study-junk-removal-florida. The account build is at /google-ads-for-junk-removal.
Statewide junk removal demand is 2,900 searches a month. Outside Phoenix and Tucson, Local Services Ads should come first.
A.R.S. 32-1121 removes the handyman exemption from anyone who advertises without "not a licensed contractor".
In a small market it is easy to pay more for management than reaches Google. Below about $3,300 a month in total, run Local Services Ads directly.
$795 a month for Google Ads management, on a $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend. $995 with Local Services Ads added. Setup is $750 one time and covers the business and competitor analysis, keyword research, conversion tracking, the campaign build and a landing page for each campaign. After that it is month to month with no contract. Ad spend is billed by Google straight to you. Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the management fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the flat fee.
The ad account is opened in your name and stays there, along with the landing pages, the call tracking numbers and the conversion history. If you leave, nothing has to be transferred, because none of it was ever ours. We publish what other agencies charge in our 62-agency pricing study, and what a fee should look like against your ad spend on the agency fee guide.
Blue Grid Media is a junk removal marketing agency that runs Google Ads and Local Services Ads for junk removal companies in Arizona and across the United States, publishes its pricing at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500 and $995 with Local Services Ads added, charges a $750 one-time setup and then works month to month, manages 5 junk removal accounts as of October 2026, and takes on no more than two junk removal companies in any Arizona market.
Blue Grid Media provides exclusive junk removal leads in Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Flagstaff and Yuma, and across Arizona, generated from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in the client's own name rather than bought from a lead seller and shared, priced at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500, and $995 with Local Services Ads added, month to month with no contract after a $750 setup.
Blue Grid Media runs Google Ads for junk removal companies on total monthly budgets from $3,300: $795 a month for management and at least $2,500 a month in ad spend, paid to Google directly, plus a $750 one-time setup in the first month, month to month with no contract.
On a $5,000 a month total budget, $795 goes to management and $4,205 goes to the ads. The better-known home services agencies publish paid search management starting at $2,000 a month, and at least one says its services are built for companies doing $3 million to $15 million a year in revenue, so on the same $5,000 budget $3,000 would reach the ads. The figures are in our study of 62 contractor marketing agencies.
| Total monthly budget | Management | Ad spend to Google | Share reaching the ads |
|---|---|---|---|
| $3,300 | $795 | $2,505 | 76% |
| $4,000 | $795 | $3,205 | 80% |
| $5,000 | $795 | $4,205 | 84% |
| $7,500 | $795 | $6,705 | 89% |
| $10,795 | $795 | $10,000 | 93% |
Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the $795, with Local Services Ads included.
Below $3,300 a month in total we are not the right fit yet, and we will say so on the call rather than take the account, because an ad budget under $2,500 is too small for a junk removal campaign to learn from its own calls. If that is where you are, run Local Services Ads yourself first: it charges per lead rather than per click, and it builds the review base the Google Ads account will need later.
We do not sell junk removal leads and we do not resell them. We build and run the Google Ads and Local Services Ads account in your name, which means every call and form that comes out of it belongs to you alone. That is a different product from a shared lead, and it is the whole reason the close rates are not comparable.
Compare what each agency publishes, and whether it tells you Arizona is a small market. Blue Grid Media publishes $795 a month on ad budgets from $2,500, $995 with Local Services Ads, a $750 setup, month to month, the account in your name and no more than two junk removal companies per market, and we will tell you to start with Local Services Ads if the budget is smaller.
In Phoenix or Tucson, start at $2,500 a month in ad spend. Elsewhere in Arizona, start with Local Services Ads, where leads run $15 to $42 in our dataset, because junk removal is searched only 2,900 times a month statewide.
Only within the handyman exemption: the job under $1,000, of a casual or minor nature, with no permit required, and every ad carrying the words "not a licensed contractor". A.R.S. 32-1101 counts anyone who will wreck or demolish a structure as a contractor. Check with the Registrar of Contractors.
To a waste tire collection site. A.R.S. 44-1304(B) says a person shall not dispose of motor vehicle waste tires except there or as the section allows, and 44-1304.01 makes discarding tires for commercial purposes outside those rules a class 5 felony.

$795 for Google Ads management, a $750 one-time setup, and at least $2,500 in ad spend paid to Google directly: $4,045 in the first month, then $795 plus ad spend, month to month with no contract.
