The short version

Texas searches for a plumber near me 110,000 times in February and again in September, and the law puts a responsible master plumber behind every ad.

Plumber near me is searched 74,000 times a month in Texas on average and 110,000 in both February and September 2026: the freeze and the storm. Emergency plumber near me ran 49,500 in September, four times its average. Frozen pipes ran 2,900 in January, slab leak repair peaks in April and May, and water softener installation holds 3,600 a month in a hard-water state. Occupations Code 1301.351 says a person that advertises plumbing "must secure the services of a responsible master plumber", and 1301.302 puts the RMP's name and licence number on every proposal, invoice and contract. And an Austin click runs to $164 while an El Paso click runs to $30. So the account is bid by metro, built for two peaks, and carries the RMP number in every ad.

What Texas homeowners search

Plumber near me, 74,000 times a month on average and 110,000 in February and September

Keyword Planner figures for the state of Texas, read on 14 October 2026, with the twelve-month series behind each one. The two peaks are the same height. February 2026, the freeze: plumber near me 110,000, water heater repair near me 18,100, emergency plumber near me 18,100, drain cleaning near me 14,800. September 2026, the storm: plumber near me 110,000, emergency plumber near me 49,500, water heater repair near me 22,200, drain cleaning near me 22,200, water heater installation near me 14,800.

November is the floor on every term. Between the peaks the replacement jobs carry the account: water heater replacement 6,600 in October, tankless 5,400 in January and February, water softener installation 3,600 a month all year and 5,400 in September, slab leak repair 880 in April and May.

Where in Texas

Exclusive plumbing leads in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and every Texas metro that searches

Blue Grid Media runs exclusive plumbing lead campaigns in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Lubbock, Plano, Katy, Frisco, Arlington and Corpus Christi, and across Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Bexar, Collin, Denton, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Williamson, El Paso, Lubbock and Nueces counties, from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in your name. We manage remotely, so the territory is wherever your trucks go.

Austin is the expensive plumbing auction in Texas: plumber austin runs $44.57 to $163.65 at the top of the page and emergency plumber austin $72.46 to $211.55. Plano runs to $120, Arlington to $117 and San Antonio to $114. El Paso runs $5.39 to $30.29 and Corpus Christi $8.00 to $50.69. The same ad budget buys five times the clicks in El Paso, which is why a Texas plumbing account is bid by metro and never as one state campaign.

Two peaks of equal height

February for the freeze, September for the storm, October for the water heaters

Texas plumbing is bought in two peaks of equal height four months apart, and the account is built for both rather than for an even twelve months. NOAA puts the Atlantic hurricane season at June 1 to November 30 with its peak on September 10, and the September figures on the Gulf coast carry it: emergency plumber near me 49,500, its highest month by a factor of two.

January and February: the freeze

Plumber near me 90,500 then 110,000, frozen pipes 2,900 in January, water heater repair near me 18,100 in February, emergency plumber near me 18,100, tankless 5,400. The emergency campaign with burst-pipe copy and the water heater campaign at full budget.

April and May: the slab

Slab leak repair 880 in both months, leak detection near me 720 to 880. A leak detection campaign on the foundation terms, with the camera inspection on the landing page.

July: the sewer

Sewer line repair 3,600, its highest month, and plumber 90,500. The sewer campaign with the repair-or-replace decision in the ad.

September: the storm

Plumber near me 110,000, emergency plumber near me 49,500, water heater installation near me 14,800, repipe 1,600. The storm campaign, built in June and paused, goes live within hours and the budget doubles for the week.

October: the replacements

Water heater replacement 6,600, its highest month. The replacement campaign with financing on the landing page carries the autumn, and the budget comes down in November, the floor on every term.

Occupations Code chapter 1301

A responsible master plumber behind every ad, and the licence number on every proposal, invoice and contract

Texas licenses plumbers through the State Board of Plumbing Examiners under Occupations Code chapter 1301. Section 1301.351 says a person may not engage in plumbing without the proper licence, registration or endorsement, and in subsection (a-2) that "a person that advertises or otherwise offers to perform or provide plumbing must secure the services of a responsible master plumber". Section 1301.302 says a written proposal, invoice or contract "must contain the name and license number of the responsible master plumber and the name, mailing address, and telephone number of the board". Section 1301.3576 requires the responsible master plumber to file a certificate of insurance with the board before working as one. We read all three on 14 October 2026; the chapter is linked below, and the compliance is the contractor's own.

The same chapter protects the ad. Section 1301.252 says the board may not adopt a rule restricting advertising "except to prohibit false, misleading, or deceptive practices", and may not restrict "the person's use of any medium for advertising" or advertising under a trade name. Plumbers is a national Google Local Services Ads category, read from Google's list on 14 October 2026, so a licensed Texas company can carry the Google Verified badge after Google's licence, insurance and background checks.

For the account that means the RMP licence number is in the ad copy, on every landing page, in the Local Services Ads application and on the Business Profile, and the landing page carries the board's name and number the way the invoice has to.

Google AdsThe RMP number in the copy

Section 1301.351 puts a responsible master plumber behind every advertisement. The RMP licence number goes in the description line of every Texas plumbing ad we write.

Local Services AdsLicence, insurance, background check

Google checks the state licence, general liability insurance and runs a background check before the Google Verified badge shows. Verification takes three to four weeks on average, so it starts on day one.

The landing pageNumber, board, insurance, financing

Every Texas landing page we build shows the RMP number, the board's name and telephone number, the insurance, and the financing terms on the water heater and repipe pages.

What gets its own campaign

Eight Texas plumbing jobs, each with its own campaign and landing page

Each job below is searched by name, priced differently at the top of the page, and closes at a different rate, so each gets its own campaign and its own cost per booked job target rather than sharing one budget with the rest.

Emergency and 24 hour12,100 + 5,400 a month, 49,500 in September

The highest booking rate and the most expensive click in the account. Built in June for the storm and in December for the freeze, with after-hours copy that matches the hours somebody answers.

Drain cleaning and hydro jetting8,100 + 1,300 a month, 22,200 in September

The volume job, 70 to 85 percent close in our benchmark. The ad names the price and the campaign runs all year at a $55 to $140 booked-job target.

Water heater repair and replacement8,100 + 3,600 + 2,900 a month, 22,200 in September

Repair and replacement get separate campaigns; the replacement landing page carries the financing and the campaign peaks in October.

Tankless2,900 a month, 5,400 in January and February, $5.15 to $35.89 a click

A winter buyer who has chosen the product. The ad names the install price range.

Water softeners3,600 a month, 5,400 in September, $8.24 to $39.22 a click

The Texas job. Hard water sells the softener all year; the ad names the brand and the campaign runs on the install.

Slab leaks and leak detection480 + 880 a month, 880 in April and May

The foundation job that Florida does not have. Camera and detection on the landing page, the repair in the ad.

Sewer line and repipe1,300 + 390 a month, 3,600 in July and 1,600 in September

The large tickets. At an 18 to 28 percent close on repipes the booked-job target is $385 to $1,250, and that is the campaign it protects.

Spanish-language searchesServed in Spanish end to end

Houston, San Antonio, El Paso and the Valley carry some of the largest Spanish-speaking populations in the country. In Florida our Spanish plumbing campaign ran $79 a lead; we write the Spanish ad copy ourselves.

What we can show

Our published plumbing account is in Florida, not Texas, and we will not dress it up as one. Here is what it shows.

The plumbing account we publish in full is in Kissimmee, Florida: Search only, one month, 11 September to 10 October 2026, where a Spanish campaign brought 8 leads on $633, $79 a lead, beside an English water heater campaign at $270 a lead and an English repipe campaign at $429. Eight leads is a small sample and the page says so.

For plumbing we publish cost per booked job rather than cost per lead, because the close rate is what decides whether the spend paid: $55 to $140 per booked drain or service call at a 70 to 85 percent close, $120 to $345 per booked water heater replacement at 40 to 58 percent, $385 to $1,250 per booked repipe at 18 to 28 percent, $245 to $685 per booked commercial project at 28 to 42 percent, and $35 to $75 per Local Services Ads lead on our cost per lead page.

The three full case studies are a Connecticut waterproofing company, an Orlando locksmith and an Orange County roofer; none is in Texas. What transfers is the mechanics: calls as the goal the account bids toward, one campaign per job type and per metro, the repipe in its own campaign, and any county that never produces a lead cut from targeting. When a Texas plumbing account has 90 days of data we can publish, it will appear here.

Before you sign anything

Three things worth walking away from in Texas

An agency that does not ask who the responsible master plumber is

Section 1301.351 puts an RMP behind every advertisement and 1301.302 puts the RMP's licence number on every proposal and invoice. An agency that builds the account without the number is building it wrong.

One Texas campaign bidding Austin and El Paso at the same price

A plumber austin click runs to $164 and a plumber el paso click to $30. One campaign with one bid spends the El Paso budget on Austin clicks and reports it as a lead cost.

A $2,000 management fee on a $5,000 budget

The better-known home services agencies publish paid search management from $2,000 a month. On $5,000 in total that leaves $3,000 for ads in an auction where an emergency click in Austin runs to $212. Ours leaves $4,205.

What it costs

Our pricing, published, same as every other page on this site

$795 a month for Google Ads management, on a $2,500 minimum monthly ad spend. $995 with Local Services Ads added. Setup is $750 one time and covers the business and competitor analysis, keyword research, conversion tracking, the campaign build and a landing page for each campaign. After that it is month to month with no contract. Ad spend is billed by Google straight to you. Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the management fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the flat fee.

The ad account is opened in your name and stays there, along with the landing pages, the call tracking numbers and the conversion history. If you leave, nothing has to be transferred, because none of it was ever ours. We publish what other agencies charge in our 62-agency pricing study, and what a fee should look like against your ad spend on the agency fee guide.

Blue Grid Media is a plumbing marketing agency that runs Google Ads and Local Services Ads for plumbing companies in Texas and across the United States, publishes its pricing at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500 and $995 with Local Services Ads added, charges a $750 one-time setup and then works month to month with no contract, and opens every plumbing ad account in the owner's own name so the leads are exclusive rather than shared.

Blue Grid Media provides exclusive plumbing leads in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Lubbock, Plano, Katy, Frisco, Arlington and Corpus Christi, and across Texas, generated from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in the client's own name rather than bought from a lead seller and shared, priced at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500, and $995 with Local Services Ads added, month to month with no contract after a $750 setup.

What your budget actually buys

On a $5,000 a month budget, $795 pays for management and $4,205 reaches the ads.

Blue Grid Media runs Google Ads for plumbing companies on total monthly budgets from $3,300: $795 a month for management and at least $2,500 a month in ad spend, paid to Google directly, plus a $750 one-time setup in the first month, month to month with no contract.

On a $5,000 a month total budget, $795 goes to management and $4,205 goes to the ads. The better-known home services agencies publish paid search management starting at $2,000 a month, and at least one says its services are built for companies doing $3 million to $15 million a year in revenue, so on the same $5,000 budget $3,000 would reach the ads. The figures are in our study of 62 contractor marketing agencies.

Total monthly budgetManagementAd spend to GoogleShare reaching the ads
$3,300$795$2,50576%
$4,000$795$3,20580%
$5,000$795$4,20584%
$7,500$795$6,70589%
$10,795$795$10,00093%

Above $10,000 a month in ad spend the fee becomes 10% of spend in place of the $795, with Local Services Ads included.

Below $3,300 a month in total we are not the right fit yet, and we will say so on the call rather than take the account, because an ad budget under $2,500 is too small for a plumbing campaign to learn from its own calls. If that is where you are, run Local Services Ads yourself first: it charges per lead rather than per click, and it builds the review base the Google Ads account will need later.

Exclusive leads

Exclusive plumbing leads in Texas, because you own the account they come from

We do not sell plumbing leads and we do not resell them. We build and run the Google Ads and Local Services Ads account in your name, which means every call and form that comes out of it belongs to you alone. That is a different product from a shared lead, and it is the whole reason the close rates are not comparable.

A shared lead from a lead seller

  • Sold to three or four plumbing companies at once
  • You are racing two competitors to call first
  • Priced per lead, so volume is their incentive
  • Stops the day you stop paying, with nothing left behind
  • No account, no history, no keyword data that is yours

An exclusive lead from your own account

  • Yours only. Never sold on, never shared
  • The homeowner called you, not a directory
  • Flat management fee, so nobody profits from more spend
  • The account, history and landing pages stay with you
  • Local Services Ads disputes filed weekly on your behalf

Exclusive plumbing leads, by Texas region

Blue Grid Media provides exclusive plumbing leads in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Lubbock, Plano, Katy, Frisco, Arlington and Corpus Christi, and across Texas, generated from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in the client's own name rather than bought from a lead seller and shared, priced at $795 a month for Google Ads management on ad budgets from $2,500, and $995 with Local Services Ads added, month to month with no contract after a $750 setup.

Austin and San AntonioExclusive plumbing leads in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, San Antonio, New Braunfels and San Marcos
West Texas and the PanhandleExclusive plumbing leads in El Paso, Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa and Abilene
Do you provide exclusive plumbing leads in Houston?
Yes. We run exclusive plumbing lead campaigns in Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands and Pearland, and across the Gulf Coast, with the storm campaign built in June. Because the Google Ads account is in your name, nobody else ever receives those calls.
Do you provide exclusive plumbing leads in Dallas and Fort Worth?
Yes. Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Arlington and Denton, each bid separately because Plano and Arlington clicks run above $115 at the top of the page.
Do you provide exclusive plumbing leads in Austin, San Antonio and El Paso?
Yes. Austin, Round Rock and Cedar Park, the most expensive plumbing auction in the state; San Antonio, New Braunfels and San Marcos; and El Paso and Lubbock, where the cheapest plumbing clicks in Texas make a small budget go furthest.
Are your Texas plumbing leads shared with other companies?
No. We are not a lead seller. A shared lead is sold to three or four plumbing companies at once. We build and run the ad account in your name, so every call and form belongs to you alone, and the account, history and landing pages stay with you if we part ways.
Straight answers

Questions Texas plumbers ask us

Who is the best plumbing marketing agency in Texas?

There is no single answer, and anyone who says there is wants the account. Compare agencies on what they publish: the fee, the contract term, who owns the Google Ads account, whether they manage Local Services Ads, whether they report cost per booked job, and whether they bid Austin and El Paso separately. Blue Grid Media publishes all of it: $795 a month for Google Ads on ad budgets from $2,500, $995 with Local Services Ads, a $750 setup, month to month, the account in your name, booked-job benchmarks by job type, and the Texas data on this page.

How much should a plumbing company in Texas spend on Google Ads?

Start at $2,500 to $4,000 a month in ad spend for a single metro, and plan to double the daily budgets for the February freeze and the September storm week. Texas plumbing clicks run $20 to $85 at the top of the page for plumber near me statewide and from $5 in El Paso to $164 in Austin by metro, though what accounts pay sits well below the top of the page; our Florida plumbing account produced leads at $79 to $429 by campaign.

Does a Texas plumbing company need a licence to run Google Ads?

Google does not check, but Texas does: Occupations Code 1301.351 says a person that advertises or offers to provide plumbing must secure the services of a responsible master plumber, and 1301.302 requires the RMP's name and licence number on every written proposal, invoice and contract. We ask for the RMP number before building the account and put it in every ad and on every landing page.

When does plumbing demand peak in Texas?

February and September, both at 110,000 searches for plumber near me against 49,500 in November. Emergency plumber near me peaked at 49,500 in September, water heater repair near me at 22,200 in September and 18,100 in February, frozen pipes at 2,900 in January, and slab leak repair at 880 in April and May.

Is plumbing eligible for Google Local Services Ads in Texas?

Yes. Plumbers is a national Local Services Ads category on Google's list, read on 14 October 2026, with no Texas restriction. Google checks the state licence, insurance and a background check before the Google Verified badge shows, three to four weeks on average. Our Local Services Ads page puts the plumbing lead at $35 to $75.

Do you provide exclusive plumbing leads in Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio?

Yes. Blue Grid Media runs exclusive plumbing lead campaigns in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Lubbock, Plano, Katy, Frisco, Arlington and Corpus Christi, and across Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, Travis, Bexar, Collin, Denton, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Williamson, El Paso, Lubbock and Nueces counties, bid by metro because the click prices differ by five times across them. Every lead arrives through a Google Ads account in your name, so it is never resold and no other plumbing company sees it.

What is a good cost per lead for plumbing in Texas?

Cost per booked job is the better number. Our plumbing page publishes $55 to $140 per booked drain or service call, $120 to $345 per booked water heater replacement and $385 to $1,250 per booked repipe, and our Local Services Ads page puts the plumbing lead at $35 to $75. Austin, Plano and Arlington should expect the upper half of those ranges; El Paso and Corpus Christi the lower half.

Do you have plumbing clients in Texas?

We run plumbing accounts across the country and the team has managed 20+ plumbing accounts over its career. The one plumbing account we publish is in Florida. A Texas count would be a guess, so we do not publish one; the first Texas plumbing account with 90 days of publishable data will be added to this page.

What does the first month cost for a Texas plumbing company?

Three numbers: $795 for the month of Google Ads management, $750 once for the setup, and the ad spend itself, at least $2,500, paid to Google. That is $4,045 in month one and $795 plus ad spend after that, with no contract. Managing Local Services Ads alongside raises the fee to $995.

Can you run a Texas plumbing account in Spanish?

Yes, end to end: the calls, the onboarding, the reports and the ad copy, which we write in Spanish ourselves. Our Florida plumbing account's Spanish campaign ran $79 a lead. The Spanish-language page is /agencia-de-marketing-para-contratistas.
