Wood privacy, vinyl, chain link, aluminum. The homeowner types the material more often than the word fence, and the retailers selling panels are in the same auction. Our own published figures put a 150-foot wood privacy fence at $3,500 to $5,500 installed and a fence lead at $30 to $95, which is the kind of arithmetic that makes a fence account worth running properly and painful to run on defaults.

A fence buyer who has decided on vinyl types vinyl fence. One who wants privacy types wood privacy fence. One pricing a dog run types chain link. The word fence on its own is typed by people shopping panels at a retailer, by people with a DIY weekend ahead, and by agencies researching geofencing, which is the noise that dominates the keyword data below.
So the account has a campaign per material, an ad that names it with a price range per foot, and a page that shows your installs of exactly that fence. The generic searcher is left to Local Services Ads, where Fencing services is a national category and the retailers are not in the auction.
The price filters the panel shopper before the click. The buyer who clicks anyway has accepted the range.
The searcher buying a gate latch or watching an install video clicks all day and books nothing.
Leaning posts, storm damage, rotted sections. Urgent, cheap to win, and the first contact that becomes a replacement.
A driveway gate is a different ticket and a different search, and it should not share a bid with a chain-link run.
Our fencing guide puts a 150-foot wood privacy fence at $3,500 to $5,500 installed and vinyl at $4,500 to $7,500, with a 40 to 50 percent close rate on estimates. Our published Local Services Ads figures for fencing are $30 to $95 a lead, a $52 median, and a 26 percent booking rate. At the medians that is about $200 per estimate, and at the guide's close rate roughly $400 to $500 per signed fence against a four-figure ticket.
The low booking rate is the thing to notice. Three fence leads in four do not become estimates, which is what a comparison-shopped purchase looks like. The account that counts estimates rather than calls is the one that can be judged, and the ad that prints a per-foot range is the one that raises the rate.
Honest intent, early stage. An account judged on calls will buy more of these.
Somebody let you measure the yard. Mark it as the conversion and send it back to Google.
Material lead times and HOA approvals mean the contract closes weeks after the click. Attributing it is how you learn which material campaigns pay.
Pull fence marketing terms from Keyword Planner and the top results are geofencing marketing and geofencing ads, at a thousand searches a month between them, which are location-based advertising products and have nothing to do with a fence. Remove them and what remains is a few hundred searches, most of them about buying leads. Almost no fence company is shopping for an agency online.
That is also why the Local Services Ads category is quiet. Fencing services is national, the auction is thinly used in the markets we have looked at, and the contractor who shows up there properly verified is competing with very few others.
Blue Grid Media's fencing LSA guide for the installed prices and the 40 to 50 percent close rate, and our LSA cost per lead dataset for the $30 to $95 range, $52 median and 26 percent booking rate. Google's US Local Services Ads list, read 1 October 2026, carries Fencing services as a national category; the seven restricted to California and Florida are architect, drain expert, home insulation, insurance agency, interior designer, piercing studio and tattoo studio.
A wood privacy fence and a chain-link run are different materials at different tickets, searched by the material more often than by the word fence. These are the splits we build from, each with its own page and its own price range.
Our fencing guide puts a 150-foot run at $3,500 to $5,500 installed. The most searched residential line and the one most contested by retailers selling panels.
$4,500 to $7,500 on the same guide. Higher ticket, lower maintenance, and a searcher who has usually already chosen it.
Commercial and budget residential. Searched precisely, won on price and speed.
Pool enclosures, front yards, higher margins, and a different buyer from privacy fencing.
Storm damage, leaning posts, rotted sections. Urgent, searched by the problem, and a first contact that turns into replacement.
Driveway gates and access control. A separate search with its own vocabulary and a higher ticket.
Property managers, farms, developers. Bids rather than calls, and a separate campaign.
Sold by many fence companies, searched by nobody looking for a fence, and worth its own campaign if you do it.
It buys panel shoppers, DIY weekends and the occasional geofencing researcher. The decided buyer typed the material.
At a 26 percent booking rate, three leads in four are not estimates. If the report does not show estimates booked and estimates signed, the account is being judged on the wrong number.
Fencing services is a national category with few advertisers in it. Leaving it out leaves the cheapest exclusive lead in the trade to whoever else reads the list.
Google lists Fencing services among its US Local Services Ads categories, and it is not one of the seven restricted to California and Florida, which are architect, drain expert, home insulation, insurance agency, interior designer, piercing studio and tattoo studio. Local Services Ads charge per lead rather than per click, sit above the map pack, and passing the checks carries the Google Verified badge. Read from Google's own category list on 1 October 2026.
These are the terms fencing contractors use when they look for marketing help, from Google Keyword Planner for the United States. The raw pull is dominated by geofencing advertising terms, which have nothing to do with fences, and we removed them. What remains is small.

Run on 1 October 2026, United States, English. About 200 searches a month across every real term, from Keyword Planner for the United States on 1 October 2026, after removing roughly 2,000 a month of geofencing advertising searches that have nothing to do with fences. The leads term is HIGH competition at $11 to $47 a click, which is lead sellers advertising to fence companies. We show the small numbers because the alternative is pretending otherwise.
$445 a month for Local Services Ads management. From $695 for Google Ads. $995 for both. No setup fee, no contract, month to month. Ad spend is billed by Google straight to you and we never take a percentage of it. Custom landing pages for your campaigns are included at no charge.
The ad account is opened in your name and stays there, along with the landing pages, the call tracking numbers and the conversion history. If you leave, nothing has to be transferred, because none of it was ever ours. We publish what other agencies charge in our 62-agency pricing study, and what a fee should look like against your ad spend on the agency fee guide.

Blue Grid Media provides exclusive fencing leads in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta and Phoenix, and in roughly 50 United States metros in total, generated from a Google Ads and Local Services Ads account held in the client's own name rather than bought from a lead seller and shared, priced at $445 a month for Local Services Ads management, from $695 for Google Ads and $995 for both, month to month with no contract and no setup fee.
Yes, nationally. Google lists Fencing services among its US categories, and it is not one of the seven restricted to California and Florida, which are architect, drain expert, home insulation, insurance agency, interior designer, piercing studio and tattoo studio. We read the list on 1 October 2026. It is thinly used, which makes it a quiet auction for a verified fence company.
Our published Local Services Ads figures are $30 to $95 a lead, $52 median, with a 26 percent booking rate, about $200 per estimate at the medians. Against the $3,500 to $7,500 installed prices in our fencing guide and its 40 to 50 percent close rate on estimates, the arithmetic works. What breaks it is buying the word fence instead of the material.
Yes. They are different searches, different tickets and different buyers, and the ad for each should carry a per-foot range so the panel shopper does not click.
Because geofencing is a location-based advertising product and shares the word. It makes the raw numbers for this trade look large and is why any fence marketing data you are shown should be checked for it.
Yes, no minimum and no contract. A fence account is small and specific by nature, and the material-by-material structure fits a company that installs two or three types better than a generic campaign ever will.
We charge $445 a month for Local Services Ads management, from $695 for Google Ads and $995 for both. No setup fee, no contract, month to month. Ad spend is billed by Google directly to you and we never take a percentage of it. Campaign landing pages are included.
You do. We open it in your name and it stays there, along with the landing pages, the call tracking numbers and the conversion history. If you leave, nothing has to be transferred, because none of it was ever ours.
We do not sell fencing leads and we do not resell them. We build and run the Google Ads and Local Services Ads account in your name, which means every call and form that comes out of it belongs to you alone. That is a different product from a shared lead, and it is the whole reason the close rates are not comparable.
We provide exclusive fencing leads in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta and Phoenix, and in roughly 50 United States metros in total. Campaigns are managed remotely, so the market is set by where your crews work rather than where we sit.
Not on the list does not mean not covered. We run fencing accounts nationwide across the United States, including smaller and rural markets where the auction is usually cheaper than any metro above.
A fence buyer typed the material. A page for that material, with your installs of it and a per-foot range, filters the panel shopper and books the estimate from the one who is ready.
Most contractor searches happen on a phone, so the page is built to load fast there. Faster pages convert more of the clicks you have already paid for.
Every call and form is connected to tracking from day one, so you can see which ads and which pages actually produce booked work rather than just traffic.
On-page SEO and local schema markup so the site earns map and organic visibility over time instead of only working while the ads are switched on.
Bring your price per linear foot by material and your estimate-to-contract rate. We will work out which materials deserve a campaign in your market and what an estimate can cost. No charge.
