Every statistic in this series is sourced. We rely on publicly available datasets from LocalIQ's annual cost-per-lead report, BrightLocal's local search studies, First Page Sage's home services benchmarks, BIA Advisory Services, Google's own LSA help documentation, and a handful of trade-association reports (ACCA, PHCC, NRCA). Where public sources do not cover a trade or market size, we backfill with anonymized data from our agency's client portfolio of 80+ contractor accounts (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, and 19 more trades) and explicitly label those numbers as "agency benchmark" rather than third-party data.

Date ranges: Most public benchmarks reflect 2024-2025 performance. Where we report 2026 figures, those are forward-looking estimates based on YoY trends in our own client data. Refresh cadence: Each report is reviewed quarterly. Last full refresh: April 2026.
